Agree or disagree?

If you yell something like, "Hey stupid!" or "Hey ugly!" in a crowd, and someone turns around and angrily yells, "Hey!! (blah blah blah)" back, do you agree that they are admitting to being whatever you yelled, even though it was meant towards no one in particular?

  • laughingTry this one: Walk into a crowd of people (with a partner or other friends) in a public place outdoors.  Not so conspicously start pointing up at the sky and kind of make like whispering and see how many random people start searching for what's not there.

  • They're not liking the rudeness. Maybe they have kids with them, don't want the kids learning to talk this way? :P

  • LOL In high school, hubby and I used to do that in the halls between classes, and without fail, one of the airheads would turn around and act all offended and start asking why we called them that, when there were like 150 other people around and no names were yelled.

  • Oh, and btw this is just a hypothetical situation now! Neither of us have done this in at least 3 years. So, hypothetically, there are no kids around.
