If your bread doesn't rise is it still good to eat?

I just spent 3 hours prepping and making bread but for some reason it never rose. I know I must have done something wrong but I went ahead and baked them anyway.

Are they still edible?

  • yes they are till edible however might not tast to great. The reason your bread probably didnt rise may have been that your yeast was old.....sorry to hear it didnt work out good luck next time.
