a foreign language, what would it be?

  • German. My dh family is from Germany and although he no longer speaks it well, he can understand most of it. I would love for my son to learn it as well.

  • spanish since many speak it around me but i only know a few words...that one year in high school wasnt a good learning experience.

  • I've already learned French in high school, but I can't wait to learn more Japanese, Spanish, Tagalog, Mandarin, German, Latin...These would be good for traveling that's for sure. I can say I love you in a few: Te Amo, Ich liebe dich, Mahal Kita, Te quero, Je t'aime, Aloha oa ia oe, watashi wa aismasu, no oi nay, em ye u ahn - if I got any wrong please help : )

  • Hungarian- My husband is Hungarian & can speak it fluently; it is a pretty hard language to learn but, over the years i have picked up on a few words!

  • Latin. I took 2 years in high school. There's no place to practice it, lol....My Spanish seems to be coming along pretty well.
