  • My daughter was DUE Christmas Day but thankfully came December 9th. We bought her a few baby toys a few clothes and diapers. I bought her these things on Black Friday because I had no clue if she would be here by Christmas or not. BUT I let me DD open them.. He will have no clue if you get him anything or not. All my daughter did was sleep in her bouncer haha

  • I would. Since he's only a month old that means he has to wait 11 months before getting stuff (well maybe not but thats my excuse LOL). I would get things he would be able to use in the future that you dont already have. Toys for when he gets older, excersaucer, jumper, clothes...etc I could go on! My son will be almost 4 months old on christmas and I'm getting him LOTS!

  • He is too young to acknowledge any gift, but buy him something for his crib to entertain him.

  • Buy him a couple of small toys and something he needs. He's not going to remember it and he wont be able to open anything anyway.

  • Get a Baby's First Ornament and start his ornament collection (I get my kids a new one every year so when they move out they'll have a good start on a full tree). Then just get a couple of things for photographic moments.

  • I took any money I would have spent on him and started a savings account for our son who was 2 months old for his first christmas.

  • I like the Baby's First Christmas ornament. But other than that, don't go out all. Maybe buy him some little toys but he won't even be able to unwrap them so it really won't be much of a deal for him. You have plenty years ahead of you for all that!! Don't worry about it too much this year :)

  • Ok, I'm a bad mommy. I really didn't do anything for my son's 1st Christmas. He was only 4 months old, didn't really understand anything. My family all bought things for him and that was more than enough! I figured the coming years would be more fun. My husband did run all over town to find a teddy bear ornament for our new "little sleepy bear" though!
