  • sweet potato casserole with nut and brown sugar topping and green rice (broccoli, rice and cheese) are my two dishes. My mom makes the turkey and we have dressing, cranberry jelly and cranberry dressing, at least one type of fruit salad, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, rice, rolls, and whatever my two SILs bring. Plus as "appetizers" before lunch we have banana bread, pumpkin bread, and a vegetable tray with dip.

  • I'm very traditional...our side dishes are always the same, mashed potatoes, gravy, sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, pearl onions in cream sauce and steamed baby carrots in butter...for a bigger crowd I'll add corn pudding and maybe brussels sprouts. I also serve those little soft dinner rolls. I'm drooling.
