  • And behold, the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked, rocks were split, tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. And coming forth from their tombs after his resurrection, they entered the holy city and appeared to many. The centurion and the men with him who were keeping watch over Jesus feared greatly when they saw the earthquake and all that was happening, and they said, "Truly, this was the Son of God!" (Matt 27:51-54)

  • the sky went dark, the veil in the Temple that separated God from man was torn, just to name a couple

  • Just as kittieashy said, the sky went dark and the veil was torn (from top to bottom). I think they may have been an earthquake as well, but I can't remember for certain off the top of my head.

  • Flatlanderjenn perfect scripture... we just talked about this today at school... so profound... Jesus died but had not been resurrected yet when that happened! Did you know that when this was going on.. it was the earth giving up the dead so they can LIVE... Death was conquered on the Cross that day... so the DEAD were made alive... profound! So AWESOME! We are no longer dead but alive in Christ and we will never ever taste death... we will go from life to eternal life! Glory to God!

  • He died. There wasn't any parting clouds or sprinkles in the air or anything. He died. May he rest in peace, but a normal man passed away.
