any other tips to get her to sleep longer?

I know i hate asking this question! sorry! my dd is 9 months old and wakes up every 3 hours. i have a bed time routine, and we have a routine during the day too. she only wakes to eat and a diaper change. im EP so gets a 6oz bottle of BM. ive tried giving her more food she wont eat it and im not wasting milk. she sleeps with a fan and music box on. she has been teething for months now so we have that under control. (love her amber teething necklace) she eats her bottle and goes right back to bed. its not that bad i would just love 5 hours of sleep straight!! but any tips would b great! thanks ladies!

  • Sorry, no amazing tricks, you just have a 9 mo old who still needs you during the night! Hang in there, she will eventually sleep through the night, they all do!

  • i'm so sorry. I have three kids, and i did same thing with each of them and 1 was a great sleeper and the other 2 were terrible. unfortunately, i think you are doing everything you can do. some kids just take longer to adjust than others. hang in there, it does get better.

  • does she eat baby food before bed? Having a meal before bed may help a little but since she is going right back to sleep it sounds like she is waking up because she is hungry some kids just wake up because they dont know how to soothe themselves back to sleep so if you think she could go without eating every 3 hours try to soothe her in her bed without getting her out and without feeding her. Have you tried just letting her fuss for a few minutes to see if she falls back to sleep? She may just need to learn how to fall asleep on her own. good luck momma.

  • You could try adding water and babyfood too the cereal instead of BM.
And I agree there is no magic trick to it, as she gets older she'll start to sleep longer.

  • All I have are words of encouragement. You are real close to the end of the constant waking. Hang in there. The finish line is within sight! You have done an amazing job! You can do it!!
