My 2-year-old son has body odor, BIG TIME!! Anyone else been through this?

It has recently become a problem because his father and I smell it every night. Is this a mornal thing for boys? My oldest is 5 and I've never had this problem with him, except for exceptionally stinky, sweaty days when we've been playing non-stop in the heat...

  • How often are you bathing him? There are several health issues that can cause body odor, diabetes being one of them

  • idk, but i had this kid in daycare...whoo! nobody wanted to change that kid lol. i don't think he got baths though. if you're giving him a bath at least every other day, then you may need to see a doc about it or something. GL

  • That sounds rather unusual. All three of my kids smelled really good until they hit puberty and needed deoderant.Maybe it would be a good idea fr his Pediatrician to see him.

  • He gets a bath pretty much every night. I've noticed it more frequently since its gotten colder and he's in a jacket, bundled when he's outside...maybe that makes a difference?!

  • Kids shouldn't have BO unless they're dirty. Its partially due to hormones that we stink.

  • My son has really smelly sweat. Worse than I ever smelt before. Could it be sweat?
