  • I think its unnecessary for most kids. Definitely needed for kids with asthma/resperatory issues or a chronic illness/condition, but for healthy kids, its not. The reason most of these guidelines get put in place is because of the "idiot factor". Stupid parents who would say "I didn't know my severe asthmatic kid needed a flu shot" after their kid dies from resperatory distress from influenza. The "idiot factor is also to blame for the fact you can't buy decongestant nose drops for infants. Stupidest thing ever. NICU nurses use them on preemie babies so they obviously are not THAT dangerous. But stupid Idiots managed to overdosed their kids with it so no decongest drops for the rest of us. Idiots ruin everything.

  • Me and my son didn't get the flu vax last year. We are also the only people who didn't get the flu. EVERY person I know who got the shot still got the flu.
