What are the most critical months of development for the baby?

  • 3-6 is the most development body wise but the last 3 is when the lungs/brain are better fully developed. Last month is just getting stronger and more defined......

  • Actually it's within the first month. That's when the cells start to develop and form into what will be your baby. That's when the problems that they will be born with (if any) are formed. That's why it is important to eat healthy, take a vitimin, and avoid any alcohol, drugs, or smoking.

  • My doctor says the first trimester is the most important because that is when the baby is developing all it's organs and it's body is taking shape. After the first trimester everything is maturing and developing to be able to survive outside of the womb.
