Does it scare anyone else that "I am not a witch" O'Donnell actually got 40% of the votes...

I mean really? I honestly did believe people were smarter than that!

  • What is even more scary is the ones who voted for her.

  • That whole race was frightening. The winner out and out lied about serving in Viet Nam. Not a minor thing to those who really did serve.

  • No, doesn't scare me at all. She' not a witch, and why keep dwelling on her. She didn't win, so get over it,and move on!

  • She' not a witch

Well of course she's not. She lied about ever having anything to do with it and invented a completely false story about some imaginary experience she had that has no basis in reality. If she WERE a witch she'd have better character than to lie like that.

  • No shit she's not a witch... I am, so I couldn't care less about that part... But she was still a dumb ass!

  • I didn't pay attention to her. She was East coast, I'm on the West coast. Please just tell me that her campaign platform did not revolve around her "I am not a witch" statement, THAT Would be sad (If she got 40% of votes based on that being her central argument).

  • People should have been far more concerned with her lack of personal fiscal responsibility- especially if they are as concerned with the deficit as so many of the TPM members voice- O'Donnell's nothing more than 1st loser in DE.

Not directly, but her whole witchcraft fabrication relates directly to an extreme fundy upbringing where she was taught to regurgitate Chick tract style rhetoric, and that same rhetoric was integral to her campaign.
