  • If it's poopy and not an EBF baby's poop (which is water soluable and can go directly in the washer) I rinse it off with my removable shower head over the toilet and then throw it in the pail. When the pail is full they go in the wash. Hot cycle with a stain removal cycle and allergy rinse added on (or a cold wash then a hot wash if you don't have those options). Google to find a good detergent and don't use much. Oh, and no fabric softener either :)

  • rinse it out by hand in the sink in cold water and then put it in the washer with mild detergent, preferably no perfumes or dyes and wash on delicate andhot water to ensure all germs are killed.

  • There are lots of different and effective ways to deal with dirty diapers. Every family has a system that works for them! We use flushable liners and throw the poop and flushable liner in the toilet, rinse the diaper, and toss in the bucket until we wash them with vinegar as a disinfectant.
