  • All of them start at different times. DS started teething at 3 months, got his first tooth at 4 months & had a full mouth by the time he was a year old. Some babies I've known don't even get their first tooth until after they're a year old, so it depends. Some signs are excessive drooling, tugging at the ears, grouchy, doesn't sleep well (which can be hard to tell if its just them being baby or teething), not wanting to suck a bottle or breast as much, biting, etc.

  • My son was about 4 months when the drool started like a waterfall. The 2 bottom teeth came in at 5 months and he was very cranky, pulling on his ear, still drooling and loose stools.

  • It's so different for every kids as far as when it starts but symptoms are usually very typical. Drooling, won't nurse or eat as much (sucking action is painfull) rubbing there cheeks or ears, obviously crankyness. Not sleeping as well. My first son started teething at 3 months and got his first tooth at 7 months. My 2nd son started teething at 2 months and is just about to get his first tooth at 3 1/2 months.
