  • Nah, I wouldn't even look at them twice. Black nail polish and rock band shirts are pretty normal now a days. Now if they had on leg warmers, neon colored spandex, and a sparkly tube top, I'd probably think they're either nuts, a hooker, or got dressed in the dark.

  • I try not to and even if my brain jumps to a conclusion I try to ignore it long enough to at least hear the person about or get to know them. I admit it. I am human.

  • Yes and no. EVERYONE is going to automatically make an assumption based off of what they see. It's human nature. But, that doesn't necessarily mean I am automatically going to assume they are a bad person or anything like that. I know nothing about the person they are, I only know what I see and am going to automatically try and make sense of that. It's how the human mind works.

  • Absolutely not! there is more to a person than it's cover...

  • To a point. If they're dressing like that AND acting all mean, angry, crazy, and nuts, then yes.
I have a cousin who is tattooed, pirced, and dyed, and he's the nicest guy who'll ever meet. Some may see him and assume he's not what he seems.

  • I could really care less what people wear. I judge a person on their personality. If they are nice & friendly then I like them. If they are nasty, I don't bother with them, no matter how they look.

  • Nope! Wear what you want. Doesn't affect me in the least.

  • Nope, looks are unimportant.

  • That is why I stopped wearing black nail polish. I am a sahm and hate goth or anything like that but I love black clothes when I gain weight. But I had dirty looks and so I stopped wearing black polish and wear tan boots or grey boots just so I don't look like death warmed over esp. during the winter...
