Do you believe Iran?

JERUSALEM -- Israel's military intelligence chief says Iran possesses enough enriched uranium to build one nuclear bomb and soon will have enough to produce a second.

To produce energy? Is it worth the risk to give the benifit of the doubt?

  • No. I don't believe that the uranium is just for energy. Their leader says with his own words what he plans to do to Israel.

  • I believe Iran when they say they want to wipe Israel from the face of the map. I don't believe Iran when they say that they are enriching uranium for energy use only.

  • Won't give you a link, you can google it, but here is a teaser:
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran's new president has repeated a remark from a former ayatollah that Israel should be "wiped out from the map," insisting that a new series of attacks will destroy the Jewish state, and lashing out at Muslim countries and leaders that acknowledge Israel.

  • I don't believe Iran. I think Israel is going to strike in self defense. It's extremely volatile and scary.

  • Link, Quinn?
In this Fox news item, Israel says they are not opposed to a strike against Iran because they don't believe Iran s going to use the ingredients to provide energy. They think Iran will bomb them. So---where is a link that tells us that Iran wants to bomb Israel?

  • Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitic and anti-Israel views place him and the Iranian regime among the foremost threats to Jews and the state of Israel.

Ahmadinejad repeatedly demonizes the state of Israel and openly calls for its destruction at every opportunity. Most notoriously, he described Israel as a "fake regime" that "must be wiped off the map."

He termed Zionists "the most detested people in all humanity" and called the extermination of six million Jews during World War II "a myth," claiming that Jews have played up Nazi atrocities during the Holocaust in a bid to extort sympathy for Israel from European governments
