  • I hide stuff because my 10 yr old is picky. Beets in chocolate cake, cauliflower in the mashed potatoes (funny thing they don't like them without LMAO), zuchini in my hamburgers and meatballs, carrots in the spagetti, and spicach in my lasagna. It works great and I don't have to deal with the whining! lol

  • Oops, that was spinach in the lasagna =)

  • I agree with Caoimhe Oona, I also hide stuff in spaghetti sauce and hamburger patties.
Now, could you be more specific about their pickiness? If it's just green food, I wouldn't go out of my way, there's still plenty of healthy food they can eat. But in order to help you out with some specific ideas we should know what they do love eat and what not.

  • Here's a quick and easy meal that most people like.
    Beef & Potato Bake
    1 lb. hamburger
    3 cup thin sliced potatoes
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    3/4 cup milk
    salt & pepper to taste
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown hamburger. Combine soup, onion, milk, salt and pepper. Alternately layer potatoes, soup mixture and meat. Bake at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender. Top with cheddar cheese and continue baking until cheese is melted.

  • Tell them they eat what you make for them or they starve.
