How long does it take your child to do their homework?

My girls are in fifth & it takes one an hour every night & the other abou an hour & half- 2 hours. Just wondering in general how long it takes your child & what grade they are in?

  • Roughly an hour or two depending on how well they focus and what they have. If it's any type of writing assignment for my 3rd grader we could be there all night. He's awful in that subject and I have to help with every word. I have 8th,3rd, and 1st graders.

  • My older 2 are in 9th grade and 6th grade and they rarely have homework. When they do it takes anywhere from 1/2hr to 2 hrs-- depending on what the subject is and how much they have.

  • My DD (5th) takes about 1/2 hour, DS (8th) can be anywhere from 1/2-1 hour.

  • My kids (6th & 8th grades) rarely have homework. When they do it might take them 30 minutes tops.

  • it takes me like 5 hours bc i have to study and some times it up to like 9 hours

  • mine are 3rd it takes her about 30min to 1hour depending what she has to do.
    8th grade he usualy finishes his in class. but when he brings something home it takes him about 30min to 1hour depending what it is.

  • My son is in Kindergarten and my oldest daughter is in 2nd grade and it usually takes them around 15-20 minutes.
