Home schooling your Aspie child.

anyone doing this? How is it going? What made you decide to go this route?

  • I home school my 5 year old Aspie, and it is wonderful. The materials we use are not expensive, it's a calm environment, and we can work at our own pace. I love not having to deal with the broken school system as well.

  • Many of my friends homeschool their kids on the spectrum because they've been unhappy with the school system. One of them decided this year to return her kids to public school instead of continuing with homeschool, but all of the others are very happy with their decision.
