i ask my niece if she was molested as a child and she totally ignored me why?

  • Perhaps she hasn't dealt with painful events in her childhood. I would simply let her know you will listen when she needs to talk.

  • i hope you asked it in private and in a gentle way... also maybe she didnt understand the word "molested" you shoudl say touched in a way you didnt liek or understand or want... oh my gosh. try again but tell her you are askign because you care and she will feel better if she talks to someone a friend or professional to clear her head. mayeb she doesnt trust you 100 percent so say you wont get anyone in trouble or make her life nuts and ALSO she shoudl not keep any SECRETS she was forced to keep! this is also a factor for her si;lence... the molester may have used her sympathy for him or her and said they cant help it yadda yadda or made her feel liek a dirty person for taking it. YUCk. try again godspeed to you and expecially to her. God bless
