How long will it take for them to repeal ObamaCare?

My son has a pre-existing condition (ear infections) and I need to get him insurance before they repeal it. How long do you think I have to find something I can afford?

  • A long time, I think, if ever.

  • I think they will try to repeal soon (February) and fail. I think the best they can really pull off is to change many parts of the bill, but not the whole thing. Personally, I'd rather have a health insurance overhaul. The insurers are making too much money and not providing that great of benefits.

  • It won't be repealed. The republicans don't have the power to repeal it.

No, they don't, but I'm hoping for some big changes for the better in there.

  • Prior to Obamacare you could have just insured your son. Now insurers are no longer accepting child only policies. So if you want to insure your son, you have to insure yourself also. So technically, you can't just insure your son..

  • They'll try, but they won't be able to repeal it. They'll also spend a shitload of time and money on trying to "prove" Obama is an African born muslim and stupid crap like that, I'm sure...

  • The Republicans don't have the votes to repeal it. If it ever happens, it'll have to wait at least another 26 months.
