  • Wash with warm or hot dish soap, get the nipples real clean take a bottle brush or toothbrush and scrub around the undersides of them, rinse really good....then boil them for 1 minute.

It's good to boil the bottle after using the same (above way of washing.

  • I always used drop ins, so there was no real need to sterilize, but I do run the bottles themselves and the nipples through the dishwasher, that does the trick...

  • I had a bottle warmer that was also a steam steralizer...if it fit then I would steralize it. I only did it every few days though because i washed them right after he was done with it...more often if DH left one in the car because we were out for a few hours

  • With the dish washer my hubby just got me, which is heaven for a mommy lol. Before I would boil them for 2-3 mins

  • Run them through the dishwasher (you can buy a little plastic box for all the little parts). I use Dr. Browns, so I also bought the Dr. Browns microwave sanitizer. That seems to work really well, and it's easy to use AND there are no disposable bags to throw away, so it's a little more green than some other options.
