good idea or not

so i got a restraining order against my husband for incidents that we were both at fault for and now i feel really bad for doing that to him and messing up his life. I love him more than anything and just wish he would work instead of taking the easy way out. Was i wrong to do that to him?

  • If a judge gave you a restraining order, then you are in danger.

I know you have really confusing feelings. It takes time to work through it. You deserve to be safe. You deserve to be with people who respect you and won't harm you.

  • Only you really know that. If your life is not in danger and he isn't hurting you then yes it's wrong.

  • Why can't you fix it?

  • Yeah, but if she made things up and paid $$ for the restraining order, it doesn't mean she's in danger. It happens all the time..

  • If you 2 seem not to be fixing things while toghether, maybe the restraining order will help, by giving you sometime apart and helping you think things thru, maybe you end up better alone, than with him, at the end there must have been a reazon for you to even think about the restraining order and getting the law involved in the first time. Dont worry so much about what you did ti him, but how are you feeling about the situation, what have you done to your self, remember that we cannot really love and make someone happy unless we love and are happy ourselfes.
