Stomach Flu.....AGAIN!

my daughter had the stomach flu on Monday, went back to school yesterday, came home around 12:30 early because she wasn't feeling well. She was running around and playing and acting normal. Then all of a sudden today at 5:30, she threw up again! and it was a lot! What should I do?

  • Keep her home, keep her hydrated. Sometimes it takes awhile to get rid of stomach flu and when she starts to eat again start her out on the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) and clear liquids like 7up, water, apple juice, cranberry juice, water, tea, broth.. etc. Thats what we give our patients after the flu. And 24 hours after no vomit we try more, like crackers, soup etc.
