What should I do with my 22 month old on this rainy day?

I'm so bad with coming up with creative/playful ideas.

  • funny you ask. i have a 22 month old as well =) we just painted our toenails and helped ourselves to a few pieces of her halloween candy. soon we're going to pick up big sister from school and have lunch (half day). then who knows! they both have rubber boots so maybe if it's not lightning or raining hard we will go stomp around in the puddles! =)

  • I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old. Both have a nasty cough otherwise we would play in the rain! We built tents today and colored under the tent for a while. Now they are watching a movie under their tent with a snack. Not sure whatelse we are going to do after that though. Sit down and do crafts of some kind or paint.

  • Dd has a cold too, and the temp outside in in the 40's... so no playing in the rain for us either lol.

  • My ds is almost 2 and I tried a pumpkin painting project with him and he actually did really well and loved it. So I recomend coloring, painting, books, maybe helping them with puzzles. Im still trying to come up with creative ideas.
