Make a roux - equal amount of flour & butter or margarine, whisked together in a small saucepan. Once it's golden, add milk - generally 1 cup of milk per 4-8 Tablespoons flour/buter. Whisk in and keep whisking while it comes to a boil. Once it's boiling, shut the heat off. You can salt & pepper at any point. Cook your pasta - anything works. When it's done & drained, add tuna, veggie of choice (or none, it's all personal preference), and the roux, plus any other seasonings you like. Mix it all together and pour into a greased pan. Top with crushed crackers mixed with melted butter and bake at 350 til topping is golden and it's bubbly & hot. You can also add any cheese to this at any point - mix it in or pour on top.
