So I need two names for either 2 boy or 2 girl guinea pigs ...

They will be featured in my blog:

http://guinea-pig-stars.blogspot.com/

If I get boys - I am thinking maybe one will be named Fred, for girls - Stella ....

  • Hmmm.... I have two girl guinea pigs named Linney and Sundae. Prior to Sundae we had Linney and Frenzy. We just let the kids name them- Frenzy was named after a Transformer, Linney after the guinea pig on Wonderpets, and Sundae after ice cream because her colouring looks like butterscotch ripple.

One of my friends has two boy pigs called Pork and Beans... another friend has three girls, all named after semi-precious stones (she has Opal, Topaz, and Amber.)

  • Oh..Eddy came from Ed, Edd and Eddy.
Kaci from the fact she had chocolate and caramel coloring in a checker pattern
Kyy came from having red(carmine) and black and white(yin-yang) coloring.

  • Fred and Barney!

I'm not big on theme-naming, but my cat's name is Steve, and it suits him!

I think names like Fred, Steve, Bill, John, Murphy, and Dave are cool for pets.

For females, I'd go with something like Jan, Kim, Kate, Jen, Mary, Allie, Bailey...

  • We just gave two babies away and they named the males Dunkin and Donut. Clever. I let my kids name ours. I named one of the males Willie though. I wanted one named Willie.
