  • I think I agree it might be true for some people and has been true throughout history, but (personally) I feel like I can be a decent human being with or without the threat of eternal damnation. I know many others who feel the same way, so I don't think it's always true.

  • I don't put Napoleon very high on the list of philosophers. He was a warrior, and someone with a (giggle) Napoleon complex. No. I don't agree with that statement.
