  • spinach & artichoke cups. They're sooo yummy and perfect finger foods for parties. I don't have the exact recipe on me but I'm sure it's online. It uses wonton dough cups.

  • This is so pretty, and people love it.
    "Margarita" Dip
    1 package cream cheese, softened
ΒΌ cup frozen limeade concentrate, partially thawed
    2 Tablespoons orange juice
    1 cup thawed Cool Whip
1-2 drops of green food coloring-optional
Beat cream cheese, limeade concentrate and orange juice, and food coloring, if using. in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping, cover. Refrigerate at least l hour. Serve with cut up fresh fruit and vanilla wafers.
Jazz it up by serving in a wide-brimmed margarita glass. Wipe rim with lime and dip rim in sugar before filling with dip!

  • What an exciting time in a freinds life and a great way to celebrate! Appetizers are my favorite.

I was featured in a segment on Chicago's ABC-7 where I presented my tips and inspirations for making fantastic appetizers that I shared for Labor Day. I made Steak Crostini's, Bacon, Chicken and Potato Lettuce Wraps, Pork Tenderloin with a Ginger Dipping Sauce and a Roasted Red Pepper Dip. You can find the recipes and step by step photographs at my website:

If you try them, please let me know how they turned out.....
