  • Go see a dermatologist. Sometimes Acne is caused by hormonal imbalances and only a prescription medication will work.

  • DERMATOLOGIST! Thatis the ONLY thing that worked for me. I needed prescription medication.

FYI-= changing facial soap brands often can WORSEN acne.

  • I needed accutane, after trying other prescripts that failed. Accutane is the only thing that worked. I did have to get a blood test every week while on it.

  • The acne.org system, including taking the vitamin supplements, is the best thing I have ever found for it. Like you, I used EVERYTHING.

  • I use the Clarisonic Mia and the Gentle Cetaphil Liquid Soap and then I have a RX from my doctor for Doxycycline Hyclate (Generic for Doryx) that I take 2-3 x's a week and that helps keep my face clear. Also be sure to use a Oil Free Moisture Lotion with a SPF Neutrogena has some really good ones.
