Do you like Soul food? What's your favorite dish?

I made the most beautiful meal last night.
Collard Greens with Bacon
Smothered Pork Chops
Corn bread stuffing
Fruit Crisp for dessert!

I get why they call it soul food! WOW!

  • Love Southern cooking. My favorite country fried steak, mashed potatoes and cream gravy, pole beans cooked with salt pork, corn sticks and banana pudding. Or Pinto beans, fried potatoes, sliced tomatoes and green onions, cornbread and peach cobbler. Of course with sweet tea.
