So I sent out 30 invites to our BBQ party...approximately how many should I plan on?

so far a total of 12 couples (24 people) have RSVP'ed and 5 singles...so 17 of the 30 invites have said a definate yes...

  • I would plan for the number of people you've invited and add 10 just to be safe. Always better to have too much than not enough. Do the 30 people plan on bringing kids? If so plan on food for them too although they'll probably be busy playing & won't want to eat. lol.

  • I would plan for 50-55 people and if you have leftovers then great!

  • I think since its adults if you want to simply you can cut out the hot dogs and go for burgers, chicken and brats. Keep it as simple as possible so you can enjoy the party too. Do as much as you can all week before the party. what drinks are you serving? I have a great margarita recipe if you need one. What sides are you doing?
