  • Dirty motor oil and auto grease, I factor that is as a certain style (being that I don't know how to get those out). But for cooking oil (even for several days old), I used a very powerful dish soap and water and rub hard, then put in regular wash

  • Dawn dishwashing liquid works great!

  • Bar hand soap or bar Sunlight laundry soap. Wet the area (but the stain will be very hard to see when it's wet) and rub with the bar of soap. Wash and dry as usual.

And yeah, motor oil is almost impossible to get out. My dad works in the oil industry and has ruined many, many pairs of jeans in the field. Crude oil is impossible to get out.

  • I use fantastik and tide. I have gotten stains out with tide that have been set in, washed and dried, and even ironed into clothes! It's a little more expensive, but when you figure the cost of the clothes that you save-you come out way ahead!
