When you get really nauseous (not because of pregnancy), what helps you?

Something salty usually settles my stomach, like a few Lays Classic chips or something.

  • I usually slice some fresh Ginger and steep it in some boiling water; drink it once it cools down.

  • anti-nausea bracelets. You can order them online. Chemo patients use them. My daughter had really bad nausea with her pregnancy and they really helped. Get one for each wrist.

  • for me deep breathing always helped and getting my mind off whatever it is making me nervous.

  • Pepto Bismal, ginger ale, peppermint.

But they only help when I'm just nauseous. When it gets to the point where I really feel like I'm about to throw up any minute, nothing helps, except actually throwing up.

  • Ginger Ale or sometimes a glass of milk helps me, even though people say milk will make it worse. For me, it really helps.
