  • The first time, I didn't get heartburn until the 8th month.

This time, I've had heartburn practically the entire time. It doesn't matter what I eat either, I get heartburn no matter what. Especially from tomato based things like spaghetti and pizza, spicy food, things like that. I'm up about 5 times a night at least, because of it. Tums doesn't help anymore, it actually makes me sicker. Last night I broke down and took a zantac, that was the best night of sleep I've had in forever!

  • Spaghetti sauce has been my number one culprit. Other than that, just other tomato based foods and chocolate sometimes.

  • I couldn't have anything with lots of garlic, nothing spicy. I could eat macNcheese and drank lots of milk.

  • Take Zantac. It's fine during pregnancy. Ask your doctor just to be safe but I end up taking it through every pregnancy.

  • I had to avoid peppers and driving by fast food places the fumes of their cooking gave me heartburn. I also couldn't eat pizza the sauce was a killer. I drank milk like it was going out of style, 6 gallons a week. I also ate a ton of yogurt.

  • Everything that went in my mouth made me sick for 5 months, so I ate what I wanted so I didn't lose too much weight.
