why is it the baby only ways a little but we the mom gain like 30

  • Just differences in the way our body deals with being pregnant. I don't know I never gained weight while being pregnant because I was sick too much. I always wind up smaller at the end. Then I gain it back between pregnancies. Completely backwards.

  • If you were sending a valuable piece of china to a foreign country on a steamer, you would package it VERY well... how much more so a baby? I used to like to tell people I was well insulated for travel. Good thing, 'cause I went to India when I was 6 months preggo!

  • Placenta, your blood volume doubles, amniotic fluid, baby, breast size increase, extra fat stores, etc.

  • I WISH I only gained 30lbs :-( the baby, placenta, fluid, milk and our constant cravings. lol

  • All the extra's of baby help add on weight. If you're talking about there at the end, well I think that's all determiend by how you eat and how sick you do or don't get. With my first I lost a good bit of weight at the end. With my second I had gianed a little there at the end...

    Fat & Protein 7 pounds
