  • I love the name Riley - not so much Gabriel (no offense). But how is Riley a nickname for Gabriel?

  • I like Riley ... that's cute! Gabe sounds ... old.

  • It is her baby. Let her decide.

  • Personally, if you are going to name a child Gabriel - either use the full name or use Gabe. Riley doesn't make sense as a nickname for the name.

  • its her baby, but when I think of riley I think of a girl!

  • I love the name Riley, but only for a boy. I think it sounds weird for a girl. I don't understand how she's getting "Riley" out of "Gabriel". I love the name Gabe, I just don't like Gabriel.

  • I like her creativity, but most people aren't going to get it. I have a friend Brandon, who goes by Brad :P

  • I don't see the connection either, but I do like the name Riley better than Gabe.
