  • Whether to have our baby daughter autopsied after she was stillborn. We opted to not do it. I couldn't fathom having my baby cut up.

  • Whether or not to divorce my ex. Making the decision itself was easy. I couldn't stay married to him anymore, but I agonized over what it would do to the kids.

  • To leave my ex-husband. We got married when I was 19, I moved to the US with him. He was an abusive alcoholic, and I was absolutely miserable. But here I was, stuck in a strange country, with no family or friends around. I was petrified of leaving, not sure how I was going to make it. But I did, and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself.

  • Leaving my ex back in 2006. I still haven't gotten over how much it hurt our daughter though. I will always regret that.
