How do you get sticker residue off of clothes?

My four year old has two uniform shirts that have had stickers put on them by teachers and I cannot for the life of me get the stuff off the shirts! I've tried several different things. any ideas?

  • Goo Be Gone, Rubbing Alcohol, Lighter Fluid....all work. Just use some stain treatment like Shout or Dawn before washing.
