I want to make a memory shadow box of my baby's "firsts". What should I include? adult content

Okay, this is what i've collected so far:
*first lock of hair
*first tooth
*Umbilical Cord
*Pictures of first moments
(being born)
*First diaper change
(number one and two)
*First Cradle Cap flakes
*First spit-up rag
*First blankie
*First binkie
*First finger/ toenail clippings
*Hospital Braclet
*Foot prints
*First outfit
*Foreskin
*First booties
*First step pictures
*First nose blowing kleenex
* First tear
* First ear swab
*First bottle of antibiotics
*First pair of shoes
*First bottle
*First sippy cup
*First drool
*First time to use the potty
(vile of pee and toilet water)

Anything I'm leaving out??? I want to make sure i have ALL of his firsts documented and in the shadow box. Also, how do I arrange it on the wall? Should I put it in his room or up in my living room.

  • I agree with the idea but surely some of the things you are including in this are seriously not needed. I'm planning on doing this with my youngest daughter (because I never got round to doing it with my other 5, plus she is my SO's first girl). As I said though, some of the things you are planning on putting in yours are gross. First snot-rag, urine sample, nail clippings. I mean come on, there are limits here. But I suppose everyone is different and have their own ideas about what is appropriate for this sort of thing but I almost puked when I read your list.

  • I've really never heard of it, but a hoarder might have a problem like this.

  • That is pretty funny. I would be pretty impressed if someone was able to get the "first drool". I think you would need a forensics kit to get all that stuff.
