  • A friend has one and it is such a sweet dog...easy to train and everything...about the same size as a lab would be....

  • labs and huskys are both big dogs so the pup will easily be 50 or 60 pounds fully grown. That of course is just an estimate but wherever it said 20 to 35 pounds they did not know what they were talking about. I have seen huskys on the small side but they are not that small.

  • We had a Husky once. Beautiful dog, 150 lbs, an escape artist and their top coat has an undercover that was very thick and shed hair everywhere in great big clumps.

  • We have 2 labs and a malamute (which is a lot like a huskey) and they all weigh about 80 pounds. They are all wonderful dogs, good natured. They do need grooming, you can do it at home, buy a professional type brush, much better for huskies. And they need a lot of exercise. All of mine were easy to train but a lot depends on the dog and owner. And make sure you feed him a good quality dog food, huskies need more protien than other dogs. We use IAM's. Enjoy your new dog, he sounds adorable :)

  • Sounds like you will be visiting a groomer a lot cause Huskeys have that double coat and it will make your house look like a snowglobe. As far as size you are looking at a dog thats going to be taller than knee high and prob 50lbs or more.
