1 Bump

Breast Implants (Fake Boobs)

Who has them or knows someone with them? is it true they need to be done every 10 yrs? and no chance of breastfeeding obviously, but I wonder the risk of breast cancer still is it the same?

(Mine are real & very happy with them by the way) :0)

  • The warranty expires in ten years, the implants don't. That's why it's recommended that they be redone every ten years. Most women get 20+ years out of their implants.

Women with implant can breast feed. The sucess/failure rate is no different among wome w/implanst than among those without. Women who have breast reductions are far more likely to not be able to breastfeed than women w/implants.

  • I know tons of girls who have them. I'm not sure about getting them redone every ten years, though.

  • I never heard about them being redone, never had to consider breast implants and don't know anyone close enough to me that I can ask. like the schools swim teacher has implants but of course I can't ask her if she will get them redone after 10 yrs., lol
