did ur mother ever teach u "if u cant say nething nice, dont say nething at all"

i think we need to remember those words of wisdom. so many times we just put the people in our lives down. then the negativity spreads. i read in a book once, that every time u think about something negative about ur husband to go and write down 3 things u love about him right away. and soon, u wont think anything negative about him... now why not apply that to our daily lives with every1 we come in contact this next week and see how different out lives are?

  • Actually no. I was taught to say how I feel. I was taught to be blunt and opinionated and thats how I am.

Answer by Anonymous at 1:35 PM on Nov. 6, 2010

  • No, I grew up with my mom 2-faced. She would call and gossip all day long. And then spread a whole different story than the facts to everyone.

  • My mother would never have taught me that. She did teach me "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
