  • We hike out into the forest and spend a couple hours looking for the perfect tree! I cant bring myself to getting a fake one and sacrifice the smell of a real tree nor can I sacrifice the 30-50 bucks on a tree farm one(but they are the most beautiful perfect ones ever)!

  • A local tree farm here. And for every tree that's cut, they plant two more :) We pay about $35-$45 for a 6-7' tall tree and we make it a family outing to the tree farm. They have hot cider and cocoa, and the kids LOVE getting to pick out the perfect tree. Two years ago we almost couldn't fit it in our front door because it was so big around even after they wrapped it for us lol.

  • The basement. :0) Live trees are WAY to expensive for us. It's like $50 for a 5 foot one around here.
