Quick help needed! Meatloaf

I am used to making it in a brown glass pan but all SO has is metal...

Does the length of time or temperature change????

I just put it in so I have some breathing room but !

  • Generally it isn't much of a difference. Just keep an eye on it, but 350* for about an hour or so is good.

  • I always use a metal pan, 350 for 1 hour. Comes out great.

  • I've never changed the length of time with mine when baking in metal compared to glass.

  • I can't remember! LOL. Its been a few years since I've used glass pans. I think the time will change a bit but i can't remember which way. Heres a bump for ya, and in the meantime, the best advice I can give is keep an eye on it.

  • I cook a little longer at about 25 degrees less when using glass.

  • I don't even use a dish I shape it onto a cookie sheet and bake it that way for about an hour so I guess it's all about the same...

  • I don't do it any different. I never time, just watch. I prefer using a metal pan.
