Simply curious. Not here for an arguementative discussion.. but since it was only 43 yrs ago that it was illegal, its still fresh in peoples minds.
Do you think of anything if you have any thoughts?

Well, I'm multi-racial. By chance, my children (who are bi-racial and adopted) look much like me. My husband, now deceased, was caucasian. I can't say that I really notice race much. Why would I? Usually I notice the same things about children ... if they're well-behaved, if they're clean and cared for - those sorts of things.
