sweet potato receipes for toddlers

hey! so my twin boys LOVE sweet potatos and since we get fresh veggies on WIC I've been getting some sweet potatos. I haven't made any yet, but I plan on dicing some up and cookin it so theyre soft.
i REALLY wanna make them some jo jo/french fry type things

anyone have any suggestions on how to make them?
or any other quick/easy reciepes for toddlers!?

  • I make fries- Slice them up and toss them with a little oil then bake on a cookie sheet until soft inside and a little crisp outside, or sometimes I deep fry them.

  • I usually do them like baked potatoes and serve them with butter and cinnamon on them. I have also cut them up, coated them in oil, salt, and whatever spices you want and then baked them until crisp on the outside, tossing them about every 15 min.

  • For my son, I washed raw ones, pricked their skin. Microwaved them until soft. Peeled them and mushed them with milk or orange juice. Nothing else and he loved it. I added formula instead when he was on formula.

  • Toss them with some olive oil and sprinkle some kosher salt on them and bake on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle some parsley for color. If that is a no go...then make a puree and add it to mac n cheese or grilled cheese. My kids love it!
