  • just google foodstamps and your state and it should pop up.

  • Most states have you either mail in an app or go to an office. I know there are a few you can do it online but not many. You can probably at least print it out for your state. You should do a search for your state & food stamps & go from there.

  • go to the social security website for whatever state you are in, they should have the application on there, or go to your nearest Social security office

  • social security & food stamps are done at different offices.

  • You have to have an appointment at your local office and then you bring in a zillion copies of your rent, utilities, etc and they tell you how much $ you can get. They also look at how many assets you have(cars and $ in the bank) if you have those then you're less likely to get food stamps. You're better off getting a job or a higher paying job and not food stamps. It only helps with food. You're still going to be hurting for $.

  • depends where you live

  • google in your state name and foodstamp calculator (ie::california foodstamp calculator) it takes a bit but tells you what you might need to know. We are not making ends meet, live on a strict budget, share 1 very used car, and still do not qualify for a family of 4 with about $2500 a month income with about $1500 of it going to mortgage, insurance and taxes. So Good Luck!!!

  • BTW:: Do your kids qualify for free school lunch? That helps!! However, this year we didn't qualify IDK why but we don't so were making brown bag lunches for everybody for about $25 a week.

  • We don't have Food Stamps, but my kids have a Medical Card. Our local office handles both. I think you would need to go into your local Community Based Services Office and apply for food stamps. Good luck.
