well done looses flavor and becomes dry .. do u agree ?

  • I agree. But that being said, I also don't want my stake bloody and mooing on my plate. Give me a warm, pink center and not too much blood, and I'm happy.

  • Rare... I'm a Chef turned SAHM and cooking past Med. rare is overcooked for all honesty, Chefs cringe when someone asks for a steak cooked past medium as it just ruins the meat at that point.

  • I like mine medium. Warm pink center. I don't want it bloddy rare, and I don't want it well done. I'm a retired Executive Chef, and I always told my cooks that it was their job to make steaks the way the customer wanted it, and to not let their own preferences get in the way. I didn't allow any discusted grunts or remarks when someone ordered it bloody rare or well-done.If someone wants it bloody rare or well-done, that is their person opinion, and I'm not going to change them to my preference by giving them anything else. I also did not allow cooks to practically burn it to shoe leather for well done, as if that's what the person deserved.
