Does your family do Secret Santa?

Our family has tried many different gift giving ideas, but Secret Santa was a huge flop. This year I'm not sure what we should do. There are 11 adults and 6 children in our immediate family alone, not including my husband's family of 8. Shew, that's alotta gifts! I can definitely combine couples or families, but I don't want to do Secret Santa ever again. Any ideas?

  • No we never have, but what I do is give a household gift for everyone, like a box or basket of edible goodies.....

  • oooh! I love the edible goodies idea, too. That's a great idea. We're all gluten free so I could give gluten free goodies. Love it!

  • I want to but right now I need to pay off debts. Once I get better on my feet, I'm going to do it.

  • This will be the first year doing secret santa, but its only the kids doing it....we will have 9 kids Christmas eve, from 8-down to a few weeks old. Right now 7 of the kids are picking names on Thanksgiving with a $20 limit. Christmas is for the kids, so the grown ups get to sit back and watch lol, I cant wait, I love the excitement. And my 8 year old loves to shop for everyone else!
