chicken pox

My ten month old has little dots all over his body and you can tell he's not feeling good. Their the worse on his belly and face. He went to bed without them and woke up with them. He has a fever. But they are very small dots. Can this be chicken pox? He hasn't had his vaccination for them yet

  • Google roseola. At that age with small dots, that's the first thing I would think of.

  • Sounds like a good case of the pox. He needs to see a doc to be sure though.

  • Sounds more like measles. Chicken pox is more of a pus filled blister with a white tip.
